  3/8-20 thread hexagonal nut for optional use with doorknob spindles. Intended for use with split spindles in doors that have a knob from only one side. By tightening the nut against the door locks hub, it helps set the spindle in the lock. Made of zinc-plated steel. Outer diameter of nut measures 5/8". 3/16" thickness.
