The machined frog & cutter seatings help eliminate blade chatter as well. The bench smoothingplane also has a quick-release cam-lock that makes iron removal quick & easy. The kidney-shaped hole in lever cap helps secure cutter in place. Contoured, polished high-impact polymer handles &knobs. Finger rest on front for comfort & control. Replacement Iron 12-313. .
