Ceramic stones from Bester are porous & absorb water for proper lubrication & never lose their fast cutting effect. Green carbide abrasive grit in a ceramic matrix. They are unlike domestic vitrified stones, which become glazed & ineffective.They have a wide cutting surface, rapid cutting action & reduced wear than standard waterstones. Made in Japan.
