This beauty of an axe has been designed in consultation with woodworkers. The handle is specially carved & is designed to give woodworkers a better grip. Thanks to it's light weight, the axe is excellent for carving small details. The Small Carving Hatchet comes as standard with a double-sided ground edge. The blade is sharpened & polished for a fine & beautiful finish. Hatchetincludes a handsome grainleather sheath.
Each axe head is hand-forged from special Swedish steel which is then honed, tempered, & annealed to the perfect hardness by the experienced Grnsfors Bruk Swedish smiths who stamp their initials on the head, creating a one-of-a-kind masterpiece you'll treasure for years to come.
