  This turn-of-century reproduction glass knob has an exquisite &charming star-shaped design fitting for period cabinets &furniture. The glass is carefully set into a handsome brass base with a threaded shank in the back. It also comes with a 8-32 thread truss head screw which allows for mounting the knob from the back.   Use only hand tools to install glass knobs on your cabinets. Power tools (or even wrenches) may cause damage to the thread or to the knobs.

  Carefully hand-install the knob by using a hand screwdriver by fastening the screw into the knob. When installing, do not turn the knob itself as it may cause breakage. Tighten carefully but do not over-tighten - remember they are made of glass & are by their nature, fragile.

  We will not replace broken knobs due to over tightening or mishandling.
